THE BACKGROUND

Qaerospace Corporation, founded in 2010, is a reality because of the life-long dream of its founder, Jerzy Zaniewski, who arrived in the United States from communist Poland in 1986. Thanks to incredible support from his sponsors and many other Americans, Mr. Zaniewski began a 34-year career in the Aerospace industry, utilizing many aspects of his electronic technical education he completed in Poland. After receiving political asylum from the Regan Administration, Mr. Zaniewski finally had a chance to allow his entrepreneurial spirit to flourish in the United States of America.

THE EXPERIENCE

Mr. Jerzy Zaniewski began his career in the Aerospace industry in 1987 as an NDT technician in fluorescent penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, further progressing into chemical processing.  
This experience encompassed processing, testing, and inspecting fracture critical hardware, flight safety hardware, and structural parts for most OEMs in commercial, defense, and space programs. The OEMs include The Boeing Company, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Parker Aerospace, General Dynamics, Honeywell, Sikorsky, NASA, and many others.

Beyond NDT LEVEL 3 in fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection, Mr. Zaniewski gained expertise in other NDT methods: anodic flow detection to meet Airbus requirements, Temper Etch inspection of high strength steels, hardness testing and Eddy Current Direct Readings testing of aluminum alloys.

Other expertise includes AS9100 Quality Management System specializing in the implementation and improvement in special processing facilities.

THE NEXT STEP

Mr. Zaniewski’s professional experience in three decades in the Aerospace industry prepared him to be selected to work for the Nadcap program on a global scale, providing exposure to ingenuity, technology, and expertise resulting in an invaluable and comprehensive understanding of Nadcap, OEMs, and the industry as a whole.

FUTURE

Continual changes to the global Aerospace industry and the demand for higher quality, prompted Mr. Zaniewski and Qaerospace Corporation to expand and found Priority Calibration, a sister company providing field calibration for special processing companies. We believe the expertise in electronics and the Aerospace fields are a perfect match to provide reliable and competent calibration services for companies working in Aerospace and other industries that require calibration at Aerospace class or services.
